CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Remodel Auction, Inc. (OTC: REMD), announced today operation of its proprietary online competitive bidding system for solar installation solutions. North Carolina passed senate Bill 3 to become the 25th state, the first in the Southeast, to enact a mandatory renewable energy and energy efficiency portfolio standard (REPS) into law. This NC REPS law will result in approximately 30 megawatts of new solar power installations by 2010 and 300 megawatts by 2018, up from less than 1 megawatt of installed capacity at the end of 2007. This represents growth of over 300 times the current market size in NC by 2018.
