Caretaker Finance Minister Youssef Khalil announced in a statement today that “the directorates concerned with disbursing the salaries of all the public sector, including retirees and military corps, have completed the necessary transaction functions, whereby salaries will be transferred to the Central Bank of Lebanon the day after tomorrow, Monday, so that they can be received by employees before the Easter holiday."
Minister Khalil commended the managers and staff for their efforts in preparing the salaries and working late hours to address the technical problems faced with electronic system in a successful manner.
