Heavy rain and gusty winds moved through the Tennessee Valley this weekend, dumping as much as 3 to 6 inches of rain throughout northern Alabama and southern Tennessee.
In addition to the rainfall totals listed above, locations in the region also reported the following through Sunday:
- 3.92 in Athens
- 3.44 inches in Moulton
- 3.35 inches in New Market
- 3.28 inches in Elkmont
- 3.17 inches in Florence
