CPS Technologies Corporation Appoints Richard Tevis Director, Quality Assurance

NORTON, Mass., July 09, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CPS Technologies Corporation (Nasdaq:CPSH) today announced that Richard Tevis has been appointed Director, Quality Assurance, effective immediately.   Richard Tevis replaces Michael Staab, who continues to be a key member of the CPS quality team, but who will now be working part-time.

Mr. Tevis’ previous positions in quality include Quality Manager, Universal Products, Inc., a manufacturer of stampings and assemblies; Quality Manager, Five Star Surgical, a manufacturer and refurbisher of surgical instruments; and Supplier Quality Engineer at Kopin Corporation, a manufacturer of night vision and thermal weapons sights.   Mr. Tevis’ is a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) from the American Society for Quality; he is also a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.  He has degrees in Electromechanical Systems and Project Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
